Stephan Auerböck, sales manager and authorized representative, is responsible for the operative business of Turck’s subsidiary in Austria

Turck is now represented in Austria with its own subsidiary. The Mülheim-based company has bought 100% of its long-time representative in Austria, Intermadox, based in Vienna. As from May 1, Intermadox will officially be renamed to Turck. In addition to the Turck solutions, the Austrian subsidiary will continue to offer products from Banner Engineering, Escha, Lenord+Bauer, ASM and Gefran in Austria.

Stephan Auerböck, sales manager and authorized representative, will take over the operative business. Until now, Stephan Auerböck has been responsible for sales activities with Intermadox. Initially, Christan Wolf will act as provisional managing director of the new Turck subsidiary. Turck focuses on continuity and thus relies on the proven Intermadox staff. Irene and Heinz J. Brezina, the founders and former managing directors of Intermadox, decided to retire after a transitional period, whereas the entire workforce will be taken over.

"Following our globalization strategy, incorporating Intermadox is a further step in this direction. After many years of successful cooperation with Intermadox, we are particularly delighted to welcome the new Turck team on board and to support our Austrian customers in a more targeted manner", says Christian Wolf, managing director of the Turck Group. "We would like to thank Irene and Heinz Brezina in particular, who founded Intermadox in 1969. Intermadox has become a successful Turck representative in Austria and we will continue and expand the successful work."
